Xiaomi has launched Mi Max 2 with 5,300mAh battery


Xiaomi has launched Mi Max 2 in China. The smartphone comes with two storage variants. It will be available for the sale from June 1.

The first variant of 64GB ROM will be available for 1699 Yuan (Rs 15,948),  while the other variant of 128GB ROM is priced at 1999 Yuan (Rs 18,765).  The smartphone will feature in the Gold color only.

Talking about specifications, it has a 6-inch display along with a 2.5 curved glass. It has a 2.5 Octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor.

The smartphone has 4GB RAM. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on MIUI8. It comes with a 12MP rear camera with amazing features like as Face Detection, Autofocus, and f/2.2 aperture.  It features a 5MP front camera.

It has powered by a 5,300mAh battery, which supports Quick Charge 3.0.  Talking about connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

The company has stated that its battery charges up to 68% percent in 1 hour, and its battery life has 2 days.

The smartphone has an amazing feature called as ‘IR Blaster’, which works as a universal remote for televisions and air conditioners.

It comes with several sensors such as Fingerprint, Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

Mi Max 2 is a successor of Mi Max. It will be available on online as well as offline platforms from June 1.
